PC Freezing when i reply to PM @ Hexus

    Is it only affecting me??

When i reply to PM at Hexus, my Hexus window freezes as soon as i click submit or preview.

It'll continue to freeze until i close it via Task Manager.

However, if i create a new message, it PM's fine.

It's really annoying the pants out of me!! I have to type everything again, again and again.

    Anyone care to explain?

I couldn't get into Hexus for a few days as Plusnet had done some maintenance. Had to switch the router off for around 15 minutes.

    Maybe related?

If that happened to all of us then I don't think we'd come on this forum but no, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the forum on this end and I use quick reply all the time

No, the current session would simply timeout as opposed to freeze the browser.

What browser are you using? Have you got up-to-date malware/adware/virus checkers?

I have up to date adware/spyware.

Me using IE6. Thing is, it only happens in Hexus which is strange. I PM fine elsewhere.

psychy, no it's not just you it happened to me on Sunday & yesterday. Kept causing my browser to crash after timing out.

Kezza it only happens when replying to pm's not when using reply in a post, using the latest version of IE, happened on all six of my pc's & laptops none have any viri, trojans etc.
