    Hexus Afterburner?

What's this forum for? Just wondering since it is empty.

Maybe, I like the idea of a gold threads area where only the best topics go.

HEXUS.Afterburner is place for opinions to be put across on editorial content that don't affect the original copy.

Steve has an article explaining it fully that'll be done soon, but if you look at some recent reviews you'll see HEXUS.afterburner sections where a member of the editorial team has commented on something talked about in a review or preview or other article, but where those comments don't affect the original editorial stance of the person who wrote it.

Take Tarinder's Sapphire Grouper mainboard review. Tarinder concluded that it doesn't really stand up in the face of the best nForce4 mainboards across a number of considerations, which is correct.

However PD's afterburner conveys his thoughts on the product where he says that the price wouldn't matter to him and that he appreciates the engineering work and aesthetic and that would be enough for him to pick it up regardless of Tarinder's conclusions.

PD's afterburner doesn't affect Tarinder's conclusion since it's just a personal opinion which PD wanted to get across.

Anyway, Steve's article will explain it better than I just have. It's a new concept, hence the empty forum.
