Session time out.

I am not sure whats wrong, but my session seem to time out pre-maturely very often.

I'd browse one forum, switch to another using the combo box, and be asked to log in again.
And sometime, I log in with my username/password, get the screen welcoming me back, then see the log in screen again right after.

I am not blocking cookies, most (non Hexus) forums work fine with me.

Does anyone know where the problem might be?
It is getting a bit tedius having to log in every 3-5min =\

even if your session was dying on the server then your cookie would automatically log you in as soon as you navigate to any page. Remember that cookies are set per domain e.g. forums.hexus.net as a domain. Are you behind any proxy/firewall security systems or are you using an IP anonymiser to surf ? Alternatively some browsers can be set to delete privacy elements such as cookies on a regular basis. These are all just ideas, it must be something outwith the control of the Hexus server though or else everyone would be in the same position

Umm, its not really working.
I went to user cp, played with enabling/disabling cookies, and it made absolutely no difference.

Cookies are enabled on my browser, I have no problem with other forums (non Hexus).

Firewall wise, I've tried enabling/disabling and same result.
I am not using any proxy at home, nor any anonymiser stuff.

I am having the problem when I am at Uni.
I am pretty sure that it is the session timing out though, because it'll usually happen after I've been iddle for a bit (as short as 5-10min though).

Is there a time set for how long a user can idle while logged in?

I am having all sort of problems with the forum from Uni.
At home its slightly better, but it seems that I can't idle long before I am asked to log in again.

This is particularly problematic when I am typing a long post, or do something else (check some other sites, get some ice-cream ye know ;)) delaying the time I submit my reply.

I do copy my post before I hit submit most of the times nowadays, but still... Doesn't seem normal..

Weird, it works here fine - what ISP? what router?

I am with Zen (ADSL).
My router is a (Solwise) SAR715.

The odd thing is that it happens both at home and at uni.
I seem to remember that it was okay a while back (before the site revamp). Since no one else is having that problem, I guess its on my side.. Or maybe something about my forum configuration?

I also have similar problem with the forum at CPU City.
On the other hand, I am okay with some other forums I hang about..
