pm size limit

one thing thats annoying is the limit of 1000 chars in pm, and worse is the 20 message limit for toal messages.

any chance of us having more? i doubt this will have any negative effect on anything, i cant think of a reson for this not being 2x what it is...

if not, any chance of a mod increasing the limits just for me?

20message limit is too small, for example when using for sale forum, its nice to have the messages stored till the sale is complete, and having 2 or more sales at same time makes this hard, and then pm for other things aswell....

often with techinical stuff pms can be over 1000 chars, so more than one pm needs to be sent, which fills up the recivers pm box, which is annoying

I agree that tha 1000 chars could be increased. Much of the time you cant reply to somone with their quotes in because of it :(

i had to reword a pm many times just now, due to the 1000char limit, i think no char limit would be nice, i dont see the point in it. message limit i think 30 would be enuf :)

but no char limit would be a nice addition, because as already mentioned quotes etc. really bump up the count.

the char limit is no doubt a limitation on the size of the field in the database so even if the code were changed it would still only save 1000 characters. That might not be the reason but it's highly likely

Wasnt like it pre-nuke, and there are other VB boards i can send over 1k of chars.
