This new javascript pop up, "message too short"

This new pop up... it's QUITE annoying. If you have to edit something, and it is under (I think) 3 characters, it won't let you edit it.

e.g., if you forget to put the "[" bracket in your post, then you can't add it in until you add more text.

Just noticed it now and it's very annoying.

Edit: Hmm, now I can't re-do what it was doing (so I can't take a screenshot). I take it you were probably testing code..

    Edit2: Nope, here we go:

If I try and remove the 3 dots at the end of the post here: http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.p...996#post832996

    It brings the message up.

I dont get it in a javascript popup - it appears as a message above the quick reply and the reply box - both in IE and FF

Well, not a proper javascript dialog box.... but to me it looks like it uses some sort of javascript to pop the little page up (as you can see in the screenshot).

By the way, I was thinking last night... and I feel a rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish now. But I know why.

In the thread I posted above, it was purely because my post was a quote.. and that obviously doesn't count as a post, so it didn't let me continue.
