Forum performance (speed)

Can you indicate whether

1) it's the whole page that's slow to load
2) the text loads but style sheets or images dont
3) the header loads quickly but slows down when loading an advert

etc.

If we can work out whether it's network or software related then it speeds up the debugging process

From my point of view, about half the page would load, then there would be a long delay before the rest of the posts would appear. I use adblock, so I don't see the ads.

There is still an issue somewhere that is proving elusive to fix, at the same time, sites like this rely on advertising to bring you the service and information we do, blocking them is not exactly helpful to our existence.

Site still seems a bit slow, but then I guess it is under more load at the moment.

With regard to the ad blocking, I do this at work to prevent any unsuitable ads appearing (some sites stick up dating banner ads for example). I don't have Hexus ads blocked at home.

add us to the white list then, there aren't any bad ads here at all.

I'm still noticing massive slow down when loading threads in the forum. All other areas of HEXUS are fine.

Is there anything you want me to run?
