    can't access hexus.net?

whenever I try to go to the hexus website (not the forums) - I get a dialogue box saying:

    You have chosen to open

    which is a:application/x-httpd-php
    from http://www.hexus.net
What should firefox do with this file?

    openwith
    save to disk

I have cleared my cache and cookies and this still appears

also tried using Explorer (shudder) and hexus is set as my homepage - so explorer just freaks and bails. As far as I can tell Hexus is the only site which does this on my PC - works fine on my work pc and various macs. A quick web search using "application/x-httpd-php" refers to some issues with the web server, or Apache?

    Help - I want to goto hexus.net

    confused

Wise old man won't you help me please? My house is a squash and a squeeze.

Malaware. Run 'spybot search and destroy' and 'adaware'.

This was an issue a few days ago, it seemed to just fix itself iirc.

Ran spyware s&d - that was one of the first things I tried. I cleared temp files, managed to resolve the matter again by disabling then uninstalling google webaccelerator - but it's also installed on my pc at work with no ill-effects.
    Still confused....

So did this happen to others?

It's almost certainly a web server problem, it's not serving a PHP page as an HTML file, it's serving it as a binary file for you to download. We moved some servers around over the last week and that was no doubt the cause of this. If it continues, let me know and I'll take it up with our host

Bizarrely it took 'til Tues to be sorted when accessing from work, which I can only really put down to the proxy cache. Sorted now tho.

That thing often makes small problems even worse. If it's precaching was loading one of the problem links then it would of casued a problem on every page that linked to the broken page. If that makes sense.
