    Any chance of Newbie FAQ?

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if I could add a small request for a new sticky in the 'Welcome to HEXUS!' forum to assist new users and to be used to remind old users of the rules/guidelines etc all in one place...

Its been prompted from this thread I made after I signed up:

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=85577

which was querying details of the nuances of the forum compared to other ones that I traverse (or to standard VB access). Questions that I thought would be useful are:

    • How many posts til x (avatar; market access; url usage...)
    • What is allowable in posts (attachments, file types, size restrictions, type of coding...)
    • What is allowable in sigs and avatars (sizes, file types and the like)

Theres probably lots of other queries that could be answered, but I cant think of them atm...

    Cheers

    ps3ud0

i totally agree with you. the faq is ok if you have a specific question, but is nice to see a quick start guide.
