    forum button on main toolbar

not sure if its just me, but i find the behaviour of the forums button under the main hexus title very inconsistant.

some days it launches a new tab in firefox, other days it opens the forum in the same screen.

is it me or is it designed to keep me on my toes?!

I think it depends on which section of Hexus you are reading.

In Hexus lifestyle it opens in the same window, from the front page it opens in a new window. I don't know about elsewhere.

Also I think it would be nice if there was a sub menu there to jump directly to new posts or subscribed threads.

It's centralised code so it should work the same everywhere. I'll look into it

could it be the difference between the community link on the black menu bar and the forums links on the site specific silver bar that's causing the confusion ? One opens in a new window, the other is the same window
