    Awesome layout, but...

I'm having some issues with the graphic content of the reviews. For example, I was JUST reading the Raedon 9800XT review, and the content was taking forever to load. The text comes up nice, but the images are dragggggging.

I'm GMT-5, 7:45AM my time here in good ole Slushboxtown, otherwise known as North Bay, Ontario, Canada. I'm on a 3.5Mbit Bell Nexxia Business ADSL pipe with a 1Mbit burst upload/768kbit sustained upload rating. Plenty of bandwidth, and I'm monitoring my Firebox for overall throughput... dead quiet, except for me

Hope I might have helped to point something out! I haven't had this issue except for the last week or so with your site.

Overall, I love it. You guys are one of my three or four fave places to hit when I want to compare and contrast certain hardware. The guys at Tech Report have gotten a little... uhm, well, "short-sighted" and any critiquing of their work (ie. the screwy FX 5900XT review that a LOT of us don't agree with to begin with) gets you a Jazz slapdown by Diss or any of the Nvidia fanboys. So, till they restore some modicum of order there, I'll frequent here THAT much more often

Keep up the good (and non-partisian) work!

And thanks for the constructive and useful input on your problem. Much better than the standard "the site is slow, fix it" emails that I get

    thanks

Yes I have to admit if more people made genuine suggestions things would improve, by telling someone their site is sh*t is only going to p*ss them off and ignore their requests, I know I would.

Suprisingly enough, I am on a cheap 512/128 cable [Warsaw, poland] and Hexus.net is blazing fast ! Faster than any other board I visit. Maybe I am just lucky

While we're on about this, on some of the reviews (Canterwood comparison being one that springs to mind) it takes ages to open and then no images, I've tried this at home on 512Kbps cable and at work on a 2Mb pipe, same results from both locations.

Hexus was the victim of a hack attack several months ago and we lost a lot of images, hence the issue you have. Future plans for the site include loading an image that explains we have lost the image if this is the case
