I have two servers running in my airing cupboard. All is well, until my better half is lax with the sheet folding, obstructs the vents, causing the fans go into overdrive, leading to her complaining about all the noise :sigh:

She should be grateful that you are adding that extra warm airflow to the cupboard! Welcome to HEXUS btw!

airing cupboard is roughly 5ft x 4ft x 10ft - i have tall celings. its the smallest room in the house. and you can even swing a stuffed toy cat in there. not that i used to play in there when i was younger or anything and it was my sisters stuffed toy cat, not mine

Re: Your airing cupboard: How ANGRY does it make you?

As if it wasnt bad enough that i fill it with awkward, difficult to store items (such as a spare cushion cover for my ikea chair and an airbed that doesnt fold properly) but the door 'handle' is the crappiest fiddliest brokenist POS the world has ever seen.... so yes, i hate my airing cupboard

We don't have an airing cupboard. The hot water tank was in a hideous built in wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. This doesn't exist any more. And until we get a combi boiler put in, the hot water tank will be inside a temporary stud wall.

However, my wife has expressed a desire to clear out the cupboard under the stairs and have that as a linnen cupboard. I had though of putting network and server equipment in there in the past, sounds like this would be the perfect excuse
