Hmm I'd seen them, are they mains or battery operated? Grade 2 is the way to go!

Me either, but was hoping slightly more money might = slightly better guards... the wahls were rather flimsy and meant I had stripes going down the sides of my head if I pressed too hard
I use a Remington, which seems pretty sturdy. Guards - hmm, yes, started cutting my hair and wondered why so much was coming off - then realised I had completely forgotten to fit the guard!

Did you charge it and oil it properly? I agree the plastic is stiff but, y'know, man up you nancy boy

Yeah, I kept it oiled well and usually used it with the AC adapter plugged in.

There's a difference between manning up and having your fillings shook loose
I did use it a few times but just didn't like it. Was a waste of £30 if you ask me.

Yep, I know what you mean. I wasn't overly impressed for starters but I seem to have got the technique down now. It's saved me a fortune in cash, time and hairdresser small talk.

Which guard number do you use? It might make a bit of a difference which number you use, I use the number 2 all over usually, which means that the device is quite close to my head.

I'm more impressed by the trimmer if I'm honest, I use it to shave my face, it leaves me with a perfect amount of stubble so I'm happy with it

It sounds like you are using them wrong.

    TIP:

Number 3, so its the same bit of plastic as the number 2. I do agree that it feels a bit hard on the old head but, ah, I've put up with worse for the 10-15 mins it takes. The trimmer is a demon and as you say works very well.

    Swines, the lot of you
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

Or ... the Babyliss Easy Cut is an awesome vibrator, questionable muncher and leaves your head sore

Get a Remington. I've got the MB320C have been using it for the past 3 years. Keeping my hair at a nice grade 2-3. It's a beard trimmer but you can easily do your hair quite short if you intent to.

Worth the look. Plus it's got self sharpening blades.

Got mine from Argos from what I remember.
