    There is oner othe way to track overall energy use, and that is to read your electricity meter every (say) week, and plot the readings on a spreadsheet. How can then manually add the cost per unit or just plot a graph to see how your usage varies over time. Doesn't give readings for individual items, or instantaneous consumption, but still a useful method.
