I bought our Miele dishwasher in 2001 and it has never missed a beat. The Washing machine (also Miele) is now probably 15 years old and only ever needed a heating element replacing (just last year).

I'd expect the Bosch machines to be reliable as well.

Miele is better than Bosch. That's just fact. But the price tag is usually much higher. You can easily spend 50-100% more for Miele.

Poor installers, the kitchen fitters had built the cabinets around the old machine. Still, some hours with a hole saw later, we're up and running.
