I have to get one in quick. Can anyone suggest a brand/model and who might install the thing before Saturday ?

Just bought a Bosch Exxcel and pleased with it so far. Their Classix and Advantix ranges sre good too, and a little less pricey.
Delivery by Saturday might be trickier. John Lewis or Currys might, some on line retailers (Comet, Appliances Direct) might at a premium.. Comet also allow you to order online and pick up from the store, which might be a quicker option.
I bought mine from Comet (via Quidco) and got quite a good price.. Very pleased with it, very quiet and has a good energy rating.

although it has gone up by £30, and I also had a Bosch cashback promotion.
Comet customer services were outstandingly good - I had to change delivery dates a couple of times, and they were extremely helpful.

In stock and next day delivery. They have other models in the range in stock.
You didn't say whether freestanding or built in. Installation is a doddle, especially free standing and a replacement. Connect hose to water supply, outlet to the drain, and plug in. If it is built in, it is a little more time consuming, but not particularly difficult.

Generally, the good brands are Bosch, Miele, and AEG.
i.e. anything German.
Another +1 for Bosch. +1 for appliances direct as well. We used them for our Washing Machine, they delivered really quickly and they were the cheapest...

Bosch-O-matic (BOSCH Avantixx SMV53A00GB Full-size Integrated Dishwasher) ordered and will be delivered/installed tomorrow as they had a cancellation.
I have to take the day off, but It'll be a chance to give the 5870s a last good thrashing on some BF3 in whilst I'm waiting. Ooh tough day that'll be.

Fair enough, probably me as well, but I'm not cheating and I'm enjoying myself !
BTW - Level of cheating on some servers is getting ridiculous. I was being sniped by handguns lastnight.

a bit late but +1 for Bosch too. Got my Slimline freestanding from them a year ago and I love the thing.
