Actual sleepers are creosoted, but you get a lot of places selling "railway sleepers" that are various grades of oak cut to that size and treated in various ways. You can get them as green oak, weathered, treated, and fully preserved in creosote... and probably more variations than that. People call them all sleepers though![]()
