    In my mind's rye I see vegetable plots and... But I guess if it is rented, there isn't the incentive, psrticularly if it is short term, or has to be returned to original state. But nice big open space!

    I believe it is a petrol mower in the shed! As for planting herbs, I did consider it, but the lawn seems to attract plenty of wildlife, including a red kite landing in it once. Besides, I think these guys would eat them: -





    The first one was taken during winter (thus the bird feeder), whereas the second picutre was taken a little over an hour ago when I got home. The fox is still snoozing in the middle of my garden now!

    I was out in mine today! The beans have come on, with flowers and some embryonic beans, and the pots have really filled out!
