It fits!
Always a pleasant experience ;)
In this scenario, ordering a fridge freezer to go between kitchen units and a wall, with a sloping roof due to the stairs. (see left diagram)
Tried scaled images first, when that was looking too close for the various sizes (see right diagram) I resorted to maths - even broke out the trigonometry at one point before hastily realising it wasn't necessary and simple ratios/algebra were all that was needed.
Selected a fridge-freezer with a predicted 2.38 cm clearance on the top right.. and it's perfect :)

Re: It fits!
A variation on the "measure twice, cut once" adage!
Glad it fits, it would have been tricky lowering the floor (with the problems of opening the door) or taking a grove out if the sloping area! :p

Re: It fits!
don't you just LOVE it when it all works? :)

Re: It fits!
No finer advice has ever been given than to measure TWICE :)

Re: It fits!
Oh yes. :)
I may hate choosing furniture styles/colours, but get me on any spatial problem and I'm in my element.
Designing a living room layout was equally fun, though won't see the results of that for some weeks - L-shaped sofa's are fun for dividing an (already small) room into a cosy sitting/media viewing area and a hallway.

Re: It fits!
That is a precision operation going on there!!
