You are kidding about marketing, right? I came across Aloe Vera when I was on holiday in Canada. I used a shaving product containing Aloe Vera and my complexion was much clearer.

To use Aloe Vera, you remove the outer layer of the leave and scrape the flesh to produce a gel and the apply gel on skin.

Anyway, judging by your remarks like Aloe Vera is something from a computer game and the imagination of marketing, it seems we're on different planets. Also, I can't stand marketing, it's a tax on goods.

Aloe Vera's also a fairly potent laxative, should you need it...

I've never ingested Aloe Vera but I think I'll continue to use it on my skin as I can see the benefits of having a good complexion.

I have two phalenopsis orchids which are hard as nails. I got them both at bargain basement prices from B&Q and IKEA. All I do is keep them on a not very sunny windowsill, water them once every approx 10 days by immersing the whole root mass in water (fill up the pot) soak for an hour, then drain. They flower regularly and are beautiful to look at

I got a chilli plant a while ago and it is awesome. I like the idea of a plant also being useful.

It's still going strong and all I do is water it when I remember and I've had loads of chilli's off it. Even made chilli jam as Christmas presents!
