    Squeaky Clarks shoes

So, everytime I buy a pair of shoes from Clarks, few months later they start squeaking like a duck. No, not a mouse.

I thought it may be to do with rain water on the roads, but I don't walk through puddles.

I have already tried these :
    - Hairdryer drying on the outer sole
    - WD40 on the outer sole

Nothing has worked. Anyone got any suggestions ?

Bought the last one from clearance outlet. So, wont apply in this case.

But, for other regular store bought ones... really .. I can return them ?

If you can, take out the insole and apply talc to the inside where any rubber parts meet.

outlet stores abide by the same laws as regular shops, i have taken M&S slippers back as the insole came away after a few months.

    Re: Squeaky Clarks shoes

I have had similar problems with formal shoes and especially merrell walking shoes, were they squeak when it rains due to water getting between the inner and outer sole.
