I recently spent.... £65 on a washing line!!!

I know... that is a LOT of money.

It's a HELLUVA a lot of money....

Was it worth it?

Oh YES!!!

it's massive, light weight, holds everything, don't sag or droop, and it's so tall I can climb under it to add more washing from a second wash on the inner lines.

Is it worth £65?

Everything in life needs relativity... and for me... yes.. it's kicks hell out of the £25 one I struggled with that sagged, was a bugger to put up and which flexed and wobbled.

the rotary style ones were just too annoying, especially when a sudden downpour appeared. all that faffing about trying to make it not fall over with the mad rush to unpeg everything.
now its just a case of starting at one end of the line with arm out, stacking and unpegging with the other, within 30 seconds the entire line is clear and we're back inside.

also useful for hanging things off when spray painting.

you just need 2 hooks to attach at either end, and you are all set.

Good choice, I've got the same (or at least very similar) and it's been fine for the last 3 years. Sun, snow and everything inbetween and it's still like new apart from some slight fading of platic bits. I do put its cover on when not in use though.

Mine's in a holder concreted firmly into the ground. A hurricane may lift it out of the holder but it's certainly not going to fall anywhere!

it came with a MASSIVE lawn spike.

Getting that in STRAIGHT was hard... but trust me... it won't fall over.

well, to assist your sales process, here's why it's great.

A) it is EASY to raise... very very easy... even a weak old dear could do it... no effort.. it's not under stress from the cables
B) it's really light...so putting it away into a shed or garage is very light work.
C) you can raie it to slightly different heights and for different people. On it's highest as I have it, it's tall enough for a 6' bloke to peg things on the inner cords without getting a really bad face full of outter cords
D) the cords are all individual.. not all one piece. It will never go an odd shape, and never need restringing.
E) the lawn spike is very strong... once in.... that pole goes no where.. but it lifts off easily.
F) With all job that people hate... washing.. ironing... hanging out clothes... paying for the best item pays you back in comfort, effeciency and ease of use.. so you can get back to the better things in life faster, like eating, drinking, playing with your kids.

I'm sold.

Large block of wood on it.. and then sledge hammer.. or in my case.. the back blunt edge of my log splitter.

gotta get it straight though, first time.. it will NEVER come out.. it's a monster

That's good to hear mate i've currently got a washing line between the house and utility building but like the idea of a rotary line. I just don't fancy digging up the garderden and then postcreating the spike in
