    [Plumbing] Honestly, this pump is the most irksome thing.

    I've a Salamander Pumps ESP80 negative head pump. It's in positive head mode. I need to flick it to negative. I appreciate that any kind of switch costs money, but it is irksome that they didn't use EEPROM for storing this setting: Check out the instructions on page 8.

    So turn of the power to the pump, then back on. Wait a bit, then power off. Then back on again.

    I am going to have to print and laminate this, every time the power gets interrupted it flicks to positive head mode :@

    Just reading those instructions, a single power interruption shouldn't affect operation - there is a specific sequence. It might be worth contacting Salamander to see if a power interruption should cause it to flip back.
