Where can I buy thin rigid plastic sheets?

Hi All,
My one year old has started wandering over to the hifi rack and turning the knobs on my AV amp, much to the dismay of my two slightly older kids who are usually watching spiderman / teenage mutant ninja turtles etc.

Does anyone know where I can buy thin plastic sheets which I could zip tie to the front of the a/v rack? They need to be thin enough to allow an IR signal.

Hit your local hardware shops and look for glazing acrylic - you can get it in 2mm thickness which should be perfect.

I got a load of 2mm acrylic off Amazon. Each A2 sheet was about £2.75 (regardless of quantity).

Cant go wrong with amazon or ebay. Always the first place i look.

I've seen it in-store B&Q, they have sheets of various colours of acrylic, metal sheets, decorative mesh stuff, etc. It seems kind of random what they actually have in stock though.

tbh you could've stopped there I'm pretty sure they're deliberately making it harder and harder to find stuff on their website so you have to go to the stores where they can merchandise at you to get you to buy things you don't want....

better of buying one of those baby fire guards to put round the av kit, used one myself and will be getting another for the impending arrival later this year!. A plastic guards going to be a challenge and may result in the amp being pulled off.
