Re: Need a LED garden light
We have a few of the small ones with spikes to plae in beds and alongside paths, they don't light up to well and need quite a few of them. We have them marking the edge of the lawn up the path, looks quite cool in the dark and they do last a few hours.
Re: Need a LED garden light
I bought a Mikey the Meerkat from the Coop in the summer - just bright enough to be able to see my keys.
Just before I moved out of my house, to a flat so no more need for an external light, my other half was visiting - she did not want Mikey, so I hid it in the back of her car - apparently she screamed the street down going to get he bags out when she got home at 1am :) Mikey has since been mangled, we suspect by foxes.
I did buy a battery powered external light from Amazon - gave it away, as no use in my flat - person I gave it to buys me drink every time he sees me - he is very happy with the light - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...=sr_1_2&sr=8-2
Re: Need a LED garden light
Most of ours are novelty ones like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Smart-Garden.../dp/B00S87UUEI We do also have some brighter round ones on sticks (some of which I had to turn off because they were annoying me!) - maybe not what you are looking for though!
LED solar lights have definitely come on in recent years, ours seem to light up for hours even with fairly minimal sunlight during the day. If you do buy the one you linked, could you let us know what it is like please? Looks like the type of light that might work well on our driveway :)
