I'm sure for pretty much any brand you could find someone who's never had any issues and someone who's never had anything but trouble. That's the trouble with looking for personal experience - you get deeper feedback, but the sample is too small to be significant.

I think it's in budget once you factor in running costs and the total cost of ownership might even be less than some of the cheaper models.

Basically, it's very similar to the crisperbox but specifically for meat/fish because it chills them at 0 degrees to extend their life for up 7 days.
@peterb - I couldn't find a frost-free fridge freezer with a lower running cost than my current model with a low frost technology on the open market at time of purchase. Your theory sounds interesting but doesn't reflect reality, I'm afraid. In fact, it was an Bosch expert in Germany who persuaded to go for the low frost fridge freezer over a frost free one. Defrosting and cleaning the freezer only takes about an hour once every 9 to 12 months. I very much doubts this procedure makes a dent on my electricity bill.
@Ooblie - I suggest you go down to John Lewis where the staff are happy to talk about the various features for each fridge-freezer.
