I'm hoping I can get some pointers on some decent washing machines that are out at the moment.
Washing machine was mid wash and started giving out what sounded like a wasp stuck in the drum every time the drum went to rotate- Sure enough it was electrical buzzing with blue sparking coming from the bottom right by the feet - Its a 2nd hand machine so seems like an apt time to purchase a new one, especially with the Bank holiday "sales" - so must act quickly if there's something good. With that:
Ive done a search and a lot of the results are from a good 4/5 years ago, so hoping to get some more recent reviews and opinions on the new washing machine hotness!
[EDIT: found this http://forums.hexus.net/consumer-ele...-2-models.html D'oh! But specific models so wanted a bigger umbrella approach ]
Requirements: (not in order of priority)
budget: up to £700 (if its worth it)
Noise: quiet as possible (Its in ear and viewing shot)
Weight: Dont NEED 8kg (current one is 5kg and dont have any qualms) Bigger drum helps with better water extraction at lower RPM?
Dimensions: Max 89H 57 D 61W
Efficiency: Best it can be
Looks: meh
Brand: Not fussed but understand Miele are your ferraris of the washing world and Bosch are decent, too.
I found a review that "best buy" the Miele WDA111 but its been discontinued - this came in at a good price and reviewed very well.
Thank you in advance
