40w LED Batten lamp 3600 lumens
Blimey.... tha'ts bright :), and yet beautifully distributed/diffused
utterly perfect workshop lamp. Very light weight, has spread the light-love across a large area in my garage
Gonna buy another for a workshop, because it's very clean light

though mine came from sister shop Bunnings

So for £26 you get a batten that is 1.2m by 1.2m..... and there's four of 'em in the pack... for £26?
Think their specs page is a bit off...!!
Also - You have a separate garage and workshop?
Damn!! :D

Re: 40w LED Batten lamp 3600 lumens
hey. I didn't need it any bigger ;)
Quick run down - came with loads of cable, properly soldered both ends for ease of slotting into junction box and into lamp, which you have to do yourself. Water tight screw thread/squeeze adaptor to keep it relatively rain proof, though for me it's in the garage so irrelevent
Two metal clamps, that fit the shape of the light casing. They have a bolt that goes through with a lock nut to pull the clamp together. Fit the clamps to the roof joists (single screw), tighten the bolts until the lamp would clip in and doesn't fall, push the lamp into the clips and gently tighten a tad so it wont pop back out. If it needs moving, loosen the nut/bolt a little to allows the lamp to pull free.
It is VERY light weight. I just purchased another, and now I know the lamps weight, I realise that half thebox weight IS the box.
These are good enough diffued light that I think they'd fit will along lower skirting board height for side/uplighting. So long as they didn't get hit hard.
