I made a clock out of one in school other than that your question is quite vague

Why, are you about to advertise your perspex sheet sales website, perchance?

Or maybe the OP is weighing up whether to pop their cherry with a sheet of perspex. It's been hanging around a lot and bought them some flowers and the charm offensive is starting to work, but they're still not sure. It's such a big deal after all as they say you never forget your first experience, right?

Sorry, I think some of these guys have been sampling too much of the Razer Respawn.
If you mean the tricky bit of cutting to shape, I would suggest scoring deeply with something like a Stanley knife (or tile cutter) and a straight edge, then breaking, whilst carefully supported over the edge of a table or similar. The sharper the edge the better for support purposes.
Something I have to do, to replace another angled sheet in the greenhouse. But given the price of those sheets, it is a somewhat scary process and one I've been putting off.

Re: Does anyone here have experience with perspex sheets?
Is it better to walk across the road with a giant sheet of perspex, or a giant sheet of glass? :embarrassed:

Presumably you could also cut curves on a bandsaw or scrollsaw? Assuming the correct blade.

That looks more like a slab than a sheet, though....!!

Bandsaw, perhaps, but you will be more limited by blade depth. They can't go too thin and still maintain tension. Scrollsaws and jigsaws would be better.

I did secondary glazing for my living room out of perspex and magnetic strips, seems to be holding up nicely
I found a company that delivers the sheets cut to size which made things nice and easy, can dig out the name if required
Re: Does anyone here have experience with perspex sheets?
Mark the desired curve on the sheet with a chinagraph pencil. Clamp the sheet to a suitable surface and you can cut with a hand held jigsaw (hacksaw blade fitted). Smooth off with file and emery paper.
