Ultrasonic Cleaner, which one?
thinking of getting one of these for various cleaning jobs. mainly for stripping paint of warhammer models though. read a few guides and seen videos of various people doing this. was going to try Bartoline Clean Spirit from Wilkos
first problem is working out which ultrasonic cleaner to get.
anyone have one at home/shed/work/man-cave that they'd recommend?
in the 1 litre range or above.
size needed is roughly in the 17xm x 10xm x 7cm LWH (about 1.2l) capacity? few cm shorter would do 11x10x7 at the minimum.
that size is so can fit the tanks in, leman russ/land raider.
but if i just stick to the foot troops, then less than 1L - 600/650/700ml i've seen around the places.
not going to link any ive found just yet, want to see what everyone actually uses first.
Re: Ultrasonic Cleaner, which one?
I have the 3L one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-U...72.m2749.l2649
Does the job well, though makes an awful noise that goes straight through you, I use it with ultrasonic cleaning solution to get stuff off circuit boards like flux/mould etc
The small ultrasonic cleaners generally don't have heaters so you would need to use cold water or warm from the kettle or something
