Chorizo?
Anyone know a mail order supplier of high-quality authentic chorizo sausage? I mean the whole sausages, not the sliced-up stuff. You just can't buy it where I live. The supermarket chorizo in my area is rubbish - made in Bolton or somewhere probably.

Don't know any suppliers, but I just have to say I love that stuff :D
Almost finished the ones I brought back from Spain. I was never sure how to pronounce Chorizo so ended up calling it 'terrifo'.
Safeway stock a passable whole Chorizo, around £3.00 as I remember. I sometimes buy some from this little deli just off of Tottenham Court Road in central London, they import directly from Spain.
Good luck in your search.

I think the pronounciation is thor-ee-tho, but I'm not sure.
I made paella for 10 people on Christmas day 2003 and ended up using some Safeway chorizo in it because I couldn't find any anywhere else. I didn't like the chorizo at all though the paella was, if I do say so myself, pretty damn fine!

My local deli has it :)
Yummers :D
The Manchego (sp?) cheese is really nice too :)

chor-ee-tho
is approximately the correct pronunciation,
love the stuff, Spanish flatmate used to bring it back all the time.
