    Nigella Express

Please tell me someone else saw the most sickly sweet thing being made (and no i'm not talking about the show itself)

Egg and Vanilla and Milk soaked bread, pan fried dunked into caster sugar, and then topped with icing sugar and blitzed strawberries.

Never ever heard of anything so sweet.

    I can't watch that program.

She makes me angry and I don't know why.

Looked very sweet, but Dakky would love it (and like 0iD, he lubs Nigella!). Wish I'd written down the garlicky beany mash thing she did the other week, can't see it on BBC Food.

    I just don't get it.

I don't get the fascination with her. Everything she does is like she is trying far too hard.

    Re: Nigella Express

Can't stand the patronising b****. I hate the way she tries to make out that she's just really lazy about things and 'can't be bothered' as though she's trying to relate to the common people when she's just a snob.

I've never seen her shows so I cannot comment as I've only seen her picture on the front of a book and a few avatars on another forum.

    Re: Nigella Express

I can't stand the programme. She was pretty good in the first series, but now she just looks so smug I can't watch her. I did see the French Toast bit though. It's a bit sickly for me. What's wrong with good old fashioned pancakes?

And if you watch the programme in order to learn recipes you may as well forget it, it's not about that, it's about Nigella and her big fat boobs.

You watch it because hate is itself a form of affection

I've never really watched her programme before as we can all cook in my family, including me, but I do love a woman who can cook...mmm...yummy
