Now I like a jollop of cow juice in my cuppa, same as the next man. But in doing so I seem to be negating the beneficial effects of my morning cup of PG.

'normal' tea wth milk please.
But then I'd rather so called 'poncy' tea* anyway and i take them without milk
I don't see the point in following the BBC health advice stories these days, half of them seem to contradict each other anyway.
* Earl Gray, Lady Gray and Red Bush usually.
Depends on what sort of tea..
I drink tea black sometimes. Also lovely with lemo, but I always felt I missed being part of "Empire"![]()

"Normal" english tea (english breakfast/Ceylon and most blended) needs milk imo, and as said in one of the best british films ever made - "Tea without milk is so uncivilised"
Speciality teas though - such as earl grey or lapsang are much nicer black.
Herbal/fruit teas don't count as they are all vile tbh..
I've been drinking a lot more tea lately, not sure if it's the cold weather causing it. Tend to be on 2-3 cups a day right now which is way more than I've ever had before.
I just have it fairly plain, bit of milk and no sugar. Though, I've been having a little honey in it lately whilst I've been ill.
tea without milk...... it's a sin
Tea without milk. Or maybe one capful.
i only drink white/green tea so no milk for me![]()
Milk for normal black tea, no milk for green (which is supposed to be much healthier anyway).
Dont you have tea with your Chinese? Just love it....starts off weak and gets stronger. We usually end up having several pots. Cuts through all the greasy/spicy/saucy food a treat.
Ran out of milk the other day and had PGTips without milk and it was surprisingly refreshing. Probably much better though fro Darjeeling or Ceylon.
The Man with the Silver Spot
I drink tea black and have done for years - I can't stand it with milk now - I find it far too greasy! Yuck!
With or without sugar, I don't mind. I can't stand sugar or milk in coffee though.
Has to be with milk for me.
Although i know other countries frown on this practice. Allot of them only put milk in tea just to cool it off and appeal to kids![]()
I have to have milk in my PGtips but green tea, rooibos, chinese tea, etc without milk.

I had rooibos with milk a few weeks ago by mistake. I thought it was normal tea and quite strong so i put a bit of milk in. turns out is was just a dark cut. Wasn't that bad though.
