Question Recommend me a thai restaurant in the Manchester Area

    As title really.

Never tried Thai food before so thought that this coming Tuesday would be a good time to go with my family and close relatives (so groups of bettwen 5 > 20 depending on who can make it...)

Funnily enough I've got relatives going to Chaophraya Thai restaurant in Manchester this weekend, I'll let you know what they say about it.

Re: Recommend me a thai restaurant in the Manchester Area

Okay, I thought they were doing an evening meal at this place, but they ended up doing a lunchtime and the lunchtime menu, they said they thoroughly enjoyed the food and it was a very relaxed atmosphere despite being busy, service was also clockwork smooth and cooked in full view (thing).

They didn't get a chance to walk around upstairs where you would be because there was a Thai cooking class that was going on up there, but they stuck their heads up there and said it was nice, same deal. They are going back for an evening meal and to try the spicy stuff out very soon.

So there you have it, it's above Sams chop house along Chapel Walks and better than Mickey D's.

Worth a shot I reckon, if you haven't found something better, If I get round that way sometime soon, I'll be trying it myself.

Anyone been to Tan Po Po? I think it was called.....

And where exactly is it, anyone?

P.S. never realised that googling "thai manchester" actually gives you a list of thai businesses in Manchester..

Tampopo Restaurants - Authentic freshly cooked Pan-Asian Food is Albert Square. It's ok, or was.

Film's worth seeing to Tampopo - Wikipedia if you ever get a chance.
