    Indoor gardening advice

    Been having a stab at growing a few things in pots, salad bits etc. Lettuce, herbs, spring onions &c going ok-ish, but with some things I'm getting nowhere, beetroot & radishes for example. Just going leggy & collapsing.

    Googling suggests too warm & not enough light; but, these BBC guides (which don't really seem to tell you much, even though they looked promising ) just say stick everything on a windowsill from the off... that's going to be light and warm though? Any advice, thanks.
