I recently purchased some silicone bakewear for making bread & cakes, just to see if it was any good compared to the usual steel tins.
Turns out it's so much better (imo). I did wonder it things would still bake/cook evenly not being metallic, but they do, and with less of a tendency to scorch or burn. Plus it's utterly non-stick & you can just peel it off with no fuss. No more greasing & lining baking tins.
Marvelous stuff
