    Quick Question

    I've read lots of recipes here today (it's like a gold mine) and in a few and only a few there are some suggestions I'd like to make. Not critisisms, but some alternatives incredients or whatever. However many of these threads have no replies. Is it "bad form" to add comments?

    Cling, the cookery book sub-forums are read only, to avoid a discussion making it tricky to find a recipe.

    However, fi you want to add something to a recipe, a variation or whatever, drop me PM with a link to the recipe in question and I'll add it in for you.

    be warned... wanting me to put 'meat is murder' at the bottom of every beef, chicken or duck dish wont work!

    Ok Nick....sometimes it's a question. For instance your Sesame Prawn Toast recipe uses Lard and I was thinking what would be a suitable alternative (Ghee?). Looks like you are going to need a bigger limit on your PM mailbox

    lol, nah, I keep it pretty empty.

    You can skip the lard altogether, it just enrichens the paste you make with the prawns. I've done the dish with no troubles without lard.
