    Crabbies ginger beer

Anyone had a try of this yet?

Got a bottle the other day and only just had a chance to try it, it's quite nice, would have preferred a slightly stronger ginger flavour personally but it's still a nice refreshing drink. Nicer than the overly sweet drinks that are similar such as Kopparberg etc.

Has to be enjoyed over ice or at least chilled but yes, I love it.

    Re: Crabbies ginger beer

like ginger beer too and i agree must be cold but for those who love ginger try this in the winter time.

Slice a couple of thin pieces of ginger and place it in a cup with boiling water. Microwave it for 5 mins and add honey.

Enjoy but during winter tho cuz it will make you hot from inside

Had this the other day in a local pub after a friend recommended it (and they had it on offer).. have to say it was very nice indeed! As said enjoyed over ice is recommended... but it is expensive usually!

    Re: Crabbies ginger beer

I love ginger beer, and also booze so the union of the two should have been perfect but I think I seem to be the only one who thinks this stuff is quite unpleasant.

If you want 'proper' boozy ginger beer just make a decent Moscow Mule.

You're not the only one, I find it rather unpleasantly sweet and chemically.

Crabbies make ginger wine, hence the name.

I prefer Franks though, made by Kopparberg
