    Thumbs up Angry Pasta

Made this tonight... never done it before so naturally I thought it'd be a complete abortion... however..

Serves: 2/3 depending on portion size

    1 Green pepper
    1 onion
1 pepperoni sausage (sliced & quartered)
    1 mediumish sized tomato
a cupboard with stuff in it....
    about 150/200g pasta
    tomato puree
    1 tin chopped tomatos..

(yeah it's VERY tomatoey, but suprisingly, not overwhelmingly so when it's done)

Chop the onion up & put the onions & pepperoni in a pan with some hot olive oil... fry em around a bit.... put the peppers in after a bit... fry em around for a wee bit..

While that's doing, put your pasta on.

Chop the tomato up as small/big as you like and fire it into the pan, give a good stir about then throw in some minced garlic and a good dose of black pepper, stir again.. check pasta .. squeeze in a some tomato puree, how much is up to you.. I put loads in... and then add the tin of chopped tomatos.. At this point you go to your cupboard of "stuff" and start taking things out at random... I picked out some powdered & ground cumin, paprika, jar of "mixed spice" some "mixed herbs" some evil looking chilli powder & the staple Worcester sauce... give the pan a healthy dose of each and stir in well... turn the heat down a bit while you're waiting for the pasta to work. Once the pasta's done, drain it thoroughly and introduce to the pan (if it's melted you put too much chilli in ) stir up well and serve.

Depending on the amount of fire you put in, you may need to have a toilet roll in the fridge on standby....

advice would be to fry all the spices at the start with the onion and garlic BEFORE adding in your liquid content (tomatoes) this will sweat out onions and develop spice flavours and get it all mixed nicely into the oil, then add tomatoes and sausage etc.
