    Under the Influence

Ok, I feel I need to admit this fact.... Deckard has made me more adventurous!!

    IN THE KITCHEN!!!

Not so long ago I only ever cooked something out of a packet and the bravest thing I would do is chop up some chicken and make a bolognese!! Ive never been particularly bad in the kitchen, just a bit scared at trying something in case it all went wrong.

Now after months of being fed by 'The Deckards' (I am ETERNALLY grateful!) Im beginning to try cooking things Ive never done before - and Im winning! Its excellent!!

My cupboards are also now graced with such things as Olive Oil, Cous Cous, Balsamic Vinegar(!), I have vegetables in my fridge which I eat before they go off and Ive discovered exactly how much I LOVE Salmon and that Sausages dont need to be part of anyone's staple diet!!!

It just goes to show that ANYONE can cook if u put your mind to it and have a bit of confidence in what you are doing.

Thank you Deckard.... and Mrs Deck!! YOU ROCK!
(Be proud - tonight I cooked Aquatic Sea Pork)
