    New Sarnie....by ME :-)

This is gonna sound wierd, but I gotta ask someone else to try it...

please....Sair tried it last night (being a Pro sarnie person) and she was...shocked cos it was ....OK!

Right...mix 50:50 Mayo and Brown Sauce....this gives a high vinegar taste and is reminiscent of Thousand island, but is a cack colour

Get a white cabbage...slice and dice a little of it...enough for a sarnie to be mounded and thick.

butter 2 slices or bread, and then use the mayo/brown sauce bland on both slices....thick.

Whack the chopped crunchy white cabbage in.....grind of pepper...

    Done...put othe slice over.

its much better than it should be...I promise...

I dreamed it up yesterday on the way home, cos I got a real taste suddenly for pickled cabbage..the vinegar taste kinda thing goin' on in mt head.....

and thats what goes on in my mind

Auran is BOUND to see this sooner or later and tell me WHY it tastes like it does....or maybe...juuust maybe...he'll make one first

    Cheers Chef's....

I dread to think what goes on in your head zak!!

    Brown sauce, mayo and cabbage.

Just a shame I haven't got any cabbage, otherwise I'd be eating one right now. Or maybe I'm just too chicken to try it

Ah, brown sauce, the most neglected condiment! You know it's great in a mug of tea!

Ah, Brown Sauce - Great for shining up coppers and sticking in a stew, but not on a girlfriend or even in a brew.

The reason is - Acids in the brown sauce increase the solubility of taste compounds in your saliva, thus increasing your ability to taste and appreciate flavours
