till it starts to look coloured on top, and hot in the middle?
Dunno about the temperature tho.... say about 200 if u have electric oven?
South Barrule from Cringle Plantation (with a Landy )
I'd say about 180c for a fan oven for about 20min. Check thats it's warm in the middle if not do a bit longer. Should be fine then.
Is it an American apple pie?
Hope it really is going to be eaten
Dont burn the... region
ahh - twas good - ended up giving it another 10 mins, so 30 mins at 180, nice and warmed through with a crunchy top - proper american one too, so was great.
enough to feed an army - still got more than half left, so that will be my afternoon snack after gym!
What they used to do, in order to tell pies were cooked is stick a clay pipe in the top.. ever wondered what the hole in the middle was for??? When the steam started coming out of the pipe - the thing was cooked all the way through, hence the expression "Piping Hot"
