I love the aeropress - i always take it with me when travelling on business, as it blows any of the alternatives out of the water.
The only thing that pissed me off was in the US and Canada - not having a bloody kettle in your room - only a naff paper cup and one-cup dripper which made the aeropress quite hard work.
At least in NZ and Aus you always get a kettle and a little cafetiere (worst case - just a kettle)
I tend to to 2 spoons coffee, water up to 2, then top up with hot water gives me a mug of lovely coffee which is a pleasure to drink black.
The hard part is finding really good ground coffee (as packing a grinder if you're only away for 3 days is a bit of a faff)
Totally agree with Dooms, the inverted method is better. Make sure to take your time as the normal method rushes through it. I have found that taking the time gives a much fuller flavour coffee.
That inverted method does look really good, and ideal for hotel rooms where you're doing your brewing on top of the minibar!
Must admit, I've been tempted by the Aeropress... might have to pick one up
First coffee of the day is from my espresso machine, a delicious cappuccino
Subsequent cups are from my gold leave over cup filter, which does a pretty decent job, but is no cappuccino, but fits on my desk
Instant using one spoonful of Nescafe (atm) with milk and one sac. instead of sugar.
With water.
I have Nespresso machine, really really love it. Capsules are a bit pricey, but the quality is the best.
I am going to update how I make coffee now...

No one have the Impress coffee brewer from that kickstarter a while back? Still trying to fine tune the amount of coffee and steeping times, but really like it so far.
Only use it at work though.
Do any of these 1-cup devices create anything at all like a real creamy espresso?

If you want a nice easy cup of nearly espresso the best bet is the Nespresso, there are alternative capsules out there now as well. To get any better (for espresso) takes considerable investment, including a reasonable grinder. But a good sort of alternative to espresso can be got with a moka pot, sitting here with a coffee made with one at the moment. Aeropress and all the other gadgets make different tasting coffee, not anything like espresso. If you fancy trying something new oooerrrr Pact coffee are doing an offer where you get a free Hario dripper with your first coffee order, they do a subscription system but it can be cancelled after the first order. But its not espresso, its different.
take a cup throw some milk and cappuchino powder and add suger, then kep the cup in microwave for about 5 to 10 mins take it out mix with spoon and thre you have a wonderful coffie, tastes same as any cappuchino
Usually the instant stuff that gets left for the dept to use in the kitchen at work. Tesco own brand. Really awful but on 15 cups a day you get used to it.
