yo this is my first post in the hotpot so I'm going to make it easy.
I really got this off jamie oliver but it's great and I've been doing them for 4 years now.lol You need to prepare this about a week before you plan to use it !!!
what you need.
1 ripe watermelon a nice sized one.
1 full bottle of good vodka(or if you're feeling rich you can do this with champagne as well)
All you do is carve a hole out of the top of the watermelon,big enough to slip a funnel in.Try and save the skin to use as a cork if you can.Then slip the funnel in and start to gently pour some of your vodka in to the funnel untill you can see liquid and it doesnt seem to be taking any more in.Now leave it.Go back the next day and pour a little more vodka in the hole.Keep doing this untill the melon is so saturated it can't take on any more liquid.Leave it overnight.When it's party time cut in to generous slices,be carefull though cos this stuff is lethal.Watch out for your kids getting hold of it.
I first did this for my stag night in 2000,we were mortal before we even got out of my house to go out.
