    A genuine mistake in the kitchen at work... and now I bring you ...

    Cous Cous in a coffee maker! © Zak33 2012.

    no kidding... truely

    Big coffee machine, on every single morning... drive to work.. dream of coffee.... walk into kitchen.... in a funk........ filter paper in the top, fill with ground coffee from the red bag of Lavatza in the fridge door..... fill water tank of coffee machine with tap water from coffee jug... slide coffee jug in under the dripper.... hit the power button

    Every day... weeks... months......years even

    Someone put a bag of cous cous in the door of the fridge, and it was in a red and silver foil type bag!

    Clearly I spotted the colour wasn't dark heavenly brown....... so I dumped it and made coffe...

    but all day.... ALL day.. I wondered... ......

    and you are wondering now too....

    would the slow steamy drip drip

    drip...

    drip....

    make cous cous?

    Answer..... BLOODY RIGHT it does.. AND it's perfect....

    AND.....

    AND

    it comes out in a paper cone of filter paper to take to eat at your desk!

    I don't imagine I'm the first.... but it's possible!!!

    no.... you clearly don't understand how a coffee machine works .... which is my fault for not explaining it right.

    its' fresh hot water dripping into filter paper with coffee in it... or cous cous.

    fresh filter paper every time.

    Zak.....I have to admire you....most people would be cursing and getting annoyed about growing old and doing stupid things, but you turn it into a triumph. Glass half full boy!

    Not sure I can claim the same when my daughter found a dirty pan in the fridge and a bag of carrots in the dishwasher....I wish you had been there to spin it into something positive.

    I understand it's possible to steam fish in a dishwasher as soon as it goes into DRY mode... but blummin hell.. imagine the smell!!!
