    Mascarpone for desert!

Tried this for the first time last week out of some cookery book, and it was AWESOME... dead easy too....

    Mascarpone cheese
    Kiwi fruit, chopped
    Honey drizzled all over it

    Simple as, and kin gorge!

Any other simple deserts like that you know of?

Mascerpone really should be the law in England,.....its just so flexible and sweet and creamy and yet not sickly like cream.

To be honest, a thick dollop of it in soup is good, its nice with sharp, tart fruit dolloped on the side, good with cheescake (no suprise)

    Heaven

Mix 4 tbsp balsamic with 6 tbsp sugar, pour that over a load of hulled and halved strawberries and leave it marinate for an hour or so.

Grab some mascapone and stir in 4 tbsp of VERY VERY strong coffee and 2 tbsp sugar.

Just serve the strawbs and mascapone in separate bowls for peeps to help themselves, lush!

    OR...
make a simple pasta in tomato sauce with bacon or something (pasta slightly al dente),
    put in an oven dish,
top with mascarpone cheese mixed with a little milk to thin down,
add a bit of black pepper on top and some parmesan if you have some,
and put in the oven for about 20 mins.

    Yum

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

mascapone topped jaffa cakes was the desert - lightly drizzled with icing sugar
