Pickled Onions - I am eating them all wrong

Good evening Peeps

While having a cheeky bag of chips from our local fried food emporium, I was told I was eating my pickled onion all wrong.

I eat mine like an apple, bite a bit at a time.
The wife however eats it by stripping each layer at a time. This is ' supposed ' to be the right way.

Whole onion in mouth, crunch, for cough, splutter, eye watering fun.
BTW Morrisons do some that are chip shop sized, for £1.50 a jar, jar is not big, so easy to overlook.

I bought them all wrong too as I got her a jar and they were the wrong type of vinegar!!!

Its either clear or brown.

I don't mind pickles but she is daft for them. Suprised she doesn't have gut rot.
