I take it you're talking about this web site

    http://www.whittard.co.uk/

Doing a quick search for skyberry brings up one hit, and that is "500g Raw Green Beans"

Think I may have been a bit previous. My email says it will be "Coffee of the Months" which at present is from Laos. So I guess the roasted variety will be available soon.

Edit : Mind you at least with a roaster I can have Skyberry all year round. Not sure about using a popcorn maker?

I do agree, the whole popcorn maker thing did sound a bit dangerous. However freshly roasted beans would be great, probably wouldn't even make coffee, just eat them as they are!

The idea of roasting your own seems kinda cool to me. I sometimes feel that the pre roasted and ground stuff is not as fresh as it could be .

Some of the DIY roasting machines here would be fairly easy to make. Maybe a smallish pot over a gas cooker with a lid mouted electric stiring/turning mechanism would work .

I've never tried a popcorn maker, but I have read that it works. However, a popcorn maker is good for roasting pumpkin seeds.
