    Tuna Steak Ideas

I have some tuna steak for tomorrow's dinner and am looking to do something slightly more interesting with it than just grilling it and whippin up some salad and dressing.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome

That's a good one, just add a couple of panfried tuna steaks to it and you're sorted!

I'd go for panfrying over grilling each time, purely because it keeps a dry frish like tuna more moist.

All you have to do is heat a non-stick fry pan over a medium heat, let it get nice and hot and add a little olive oil... run that round the pan so it's lightly coated (you'll only need a couple of tablespoons of oil) then lightly sprinkle the inside of the pan with salt.

Lay your steaks inot the pan to cook and watch the sides of the steaks... you can see how far through they're cooked as they change colour... when they're halfway through, flip em over and finish on the other side.

But you can also use this recipe...

Just use tuna instead of the swordfish.

And the same goes for this one, again, swap the salmon for tuna..

    Poo, I missed this one.

Eat loads of Tuna and am always trying different things. Teriaki Tuna is nice, but my weirdest is "Tuna Wellington". I use Walnut and Green Bean Pate.
