    Yogurt ideas

bought some natural yogurt and also bought some dried berries(red bierried, black etc) and want some ideas for things to do with the yogurt apart from mixing the berries in.

feel free to suggest pretty much anything, doesn't just have to be restricted to a yogurt mix.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

My contirbution, shamelessly ripped from my post in another thread!

    Lime and Coriander Chicken

    Serves: 2
    Prep time: 10mins
    Cooking time: 15mins

    Ingredients
    2 skinless chicken breasts
    250g low fat yoghurt
    5 tbsp chopped coriander
    1 lime, zested and juiced
1 birds eye chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
    1 tsp vegetable oil

    Method

Trim any visible fat from the chicken breasts.

In a bowl mix the yoghurt with 3 tbsp of the coriander, the lime zest and juice and chilli.

Add the chicken and mix to coat well.

Cover with cling film and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.

Place a griddle or frying pan over a high heat and lightly brush with the oil.

Cook the chicken over a medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked.

Slice the chicken and serve sprinkled with the remaining coriander.

Serve hot with mixed rice and vegetables or cold in sandwiches or salads.

    And having had another thought...

Soak the berries in boiling water for 15mins, then poach in the same water over a low heat with some sugar and allspice (if you don't have allspice, don't worry about it).

Let that cool, then pour into a bowl and chill.

Whip up some cream and fold the yoghurt into it then smooge this onto the berries... don't worry if loadsa juice oozes up the sides, the main of it will all stay in the bottom.

Now top with a goodly layer of brown sugar and leave to chill in the fridge for a few hours... the sugar will soak up moisture from the yoghurt and go all crispy...

And last thing to do... eat it!

    ..continued from Deckard's post.

Once done, put it under the grill or use a blow torch, and it will get even nicer as it caramalises, careful not to totally blacken it tho.
