Re: That "one cup too many" feeling?

I don't drink coffee/tea/fizzy drinks. I stick to water/fruit juice/squash so no caffeine issues for me! In winter though i do get the occasional craving for a decent hot chocolate.

Oooh, interesting shout there CAT. It's good, but it's a bit pricey to be an everyday option. It's more of a speciality drink. I couldn't afford to drink enough of it to get any odd physiological reactions...

To me, Curiosity cola just tasted the same as a budget supermarket "cola". The only thing curious about it, then, was the price.

I prefer the taste of Diet Pepsi to Pepsi Max, but Coke Zero really is where it's at. You can tell the difference between batches though, sometimes it's a bit watery/tasteless. In it's favour, Pepsi does seem consistent.

I cannot stand anything with artificial sweeteners in it due to the aftertaste, plus they are not even that healthy since they fool your body into thinking you have sugar in your system when you don't.

I don't drink that much Cola so would rather have the full fat stuff.

If anything people should be much more worried about the phosphoric acid in most colas which is what really rots your teeth.

The main reason I stick to Pepsi Max is because it doesn't have that nasty Aspartame aftertaste...

I've been diabetic most of my life, so I try to avoid sugary drinks (including fruit juice). I'm used to the taste of artificial sweeteners now - in fact anything with actual sugar just tastes sickly to me. I also don't tend to drink many fizzy drinks - maybe 1 can every week or two

I can get the aftertaste in almost all low calorie drinks of the sweeteners, some are not as bad as others, but its kind of off-putting for me.
